About TEBD II

Chambers of commerce and industry across Türkiye and the European Union (EU) are key players in promoting cross-border cooperation and supporting Türkiye’s path toward closer integration with the EU. Building on this strong foundation, the Türkiye-EU Business Dialogue II (TEBD-II) is the new phase of a long-standing partnership between Eurochambres – the association of European chambers of commerce and industry – and TOBB, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye. Acting as the “voice of business” on both sides, these organisations work to advance strategic priorities that deliver concrete benefits for companies in both regions.

Running from 2024 to 2027, TEBD-II will intensify economic ties between Türkiye and the EU through a rich programme of joint activities. Led by Eurochambres, the initiative will feature High-Level Business Dialogues, SME surveys, joint workshops, and other networking platforms bringing together Turkish and EU chambers and business communities. It will also include capacity-building measures such as study visits, chamber academies and targeted support programmes on energy efficiency, sustainable growth and EU acquis compliance, designed to strengthen the institutional capacity of chambers on both sides.

A flagship element of TEBD-II is its Chamber Partnership Grant Scheme, which will fund around 20 joint projects between European and Turkish chambers, each lasting up to 15 months. Grant recipients will benefit from training, coaching and ongoing technical support from the TEBD-II team to ensure high-quality delivery and long-term impact of their activities.
