On 17 July 2025, the first webinar on the Türkiye-EU Business Dialogue II (TEBD II) project hosted a high-level webinar focused on energy efficiency-related funding opportunities for Turkish SMEs. The webinar is part of the broader TEBD II Energy Efficiency Support Programme.
It followed a successful in-person training held in Ankara in June, which brought together 25 chamber representatives trained as “Energy Efficiency Ambassadors.” The upcoming online session gathered over 150 participants, including executives from Turkish chambers and SME representatives from across the country. The targedted number was 75.
Its goal was to enhance awareness and capacity regarding financing mechanisms for energy efficiency measures. Speakers will include representatives from Turkish public institutions, international financial institutions (such as EBRD, EIB, IFC), and EU programmes like Horizon Europe and INTERREG.
This webinar directly contributed to Türkiye’s green transformation and alignment with the EU Green Deal agenda and marked another step in TEBD II’s commitment to sustainable business development.
