Acquis Spot-Check Support Programme

The TEBD II Acquis Spot-Check Support Programme aims at equipping Turkish chambers and commodity exchanges with knowledge and capacity on EU rules and legislative frameworks, to strengthen their capacity to advise its member companies on how to align and comply with the evolving EU Aquis.

The programme will be running from fall 2026 to mid-2027, under the coordination of Eurochambres in close partnership with TOBB.

In particular, TEBD II Acquis Spot-Check Support Programme will cover three EU Acquis areas, as follows:

·       Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM);

·       Packaging and Packaging Waste (PPWR);

·       General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and digital transformation legislation.

Call for Turkish Participants

In this context, the TEBD II project launched a call to recruit 27 executives from Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.

Selected executives will:

·       Join the EU Acquis training in Ankara (24-26 November 2026)

·       Learn about EU legislative frameworks in the three sectors

·       Be delivered and trained to apply the TEBD II Acquis Spot-Check Toolkit, including dedicated checklists on CBAM, PPWR, GDPR;

·       Carry out audits with Turkish companies to assess their compliance with EU Acquis in these sectors. 

How to Apply

Interested Turkish chamber and commodity exchange representatives shall submit their applications by 18/10/2026 at the latest as explained in the call for participants.
